French Cherry Console Table - $750 - (Stowe, VT)
This beautiful cherry console table is from late 19th to early 20th century France. It is the ideal size to be used as a computer table, desk or writing table. Wooden pegs hold everything together, with the exception of the drawer stop on the back of the skirt which is attached with early screws. The finish has faded a bit on the drawer front, but overall the surface is still quite lovely. Long tapering legs with chamfered corners accent this rustic and practical table. The brass drawer pull is loose and can turn about where perhaps it used to be solid. The table measures 28 3/4" x 49" x 30" and 23 1/2" to the skirt. It weighs 57lbs.
