Bronze Ormulu 15" hand MIRROR, signed Portrait on back, Enamel guilloche - $345 - (Clayton, GA)

This 15 inch hand mirror is marked 'France', which predates the 'Made in' which was required after about 1921. It could be much earlier. It looks like bronze ormulu and is heavy for its size. The mirror itself is beveled and measures about 4.5 inches by 5.5 inches. The portrait on the back looks like Marie Antoinette and is surrounded by a robin's egg blue enameled guilloche inside the ormulu surrounding frame. Marie Antoinette is hand painted and the portrait is signed with a name I can't make out, except for the clear beginning R. THE SMALL PRINT... The buyer pays shipping.
