Hérisson is French for hedgehog! And you can see why these bottle drying racks would be named after a spiky critter. Each tine would have held a wine bottle for drying before reuse. Hérisson were made famous after Marcel Duchamp included this style of bottle rack in his "readymades". These racks could be used for their original purpose, or re-purposed into a Hérisson chandelier or lamp.
