This is a chunky agatized section of sauropod dinosaur gembone, nearly 100 million years old! It is a portion of a smaller limb bone, such as a fibula, from one of the awesome giant Jurassic dinosaurs. It is very solid & well preserved. It is also a very colorful agatized gembone specimen, with beautiful & intriguing cell structure. It weighs approx. 5 pounds & it is approx. 5 1/2" in length & 4" in thickness. It is upper Jurassic age, Morrison Formation, found in northwestern Colorado many decades ago. It has a very light polish on the face, from long ago. Thanks for looking!!!
