Design Engineer - (Neptune Beach, FL)

Job DescriptionAs part of the R&D Released Product Engineering team, perform Engineering review of existing medical device components (Molded, Machined and Assemblies) and provide redlines to CAD Designers to create new or revised drawings. Review will consist of analyzing existing part measurement data and the impact on component or next level product functionality of any potential drawing. Once a path is chosen, appropriate Design Verification protocols and reports will need to be authored and executed to support changes.Primary Skills--- Thorough knowledge in 6 Sigma, Manufacturing process, plant set up and line transfer activities.--- Need to be able to understand mechanical assembly tolerances and generate design stacks.--- Need to be able to review existing product qualifications, design verification and riskmanagement documents to understand potential impact of design changes.--- Background in Geometric dimensioning & tolerances
