an old antique pine newel post that measures 49" tall [ including the newly made cap pc when measuring ]. The bottom part of the post measures around 7" by 7" and the cap measures 7 1/2" by 7 1/2". The "unfinished" pine or birch handrail measures 72" by 3 1/2" tall. The longer pine spindles measure 31 1/2" and the shorter are about 28".
