Vintage Camera Wood Case Fits a Brownie Camera w/Instruction Booklets and Lens - $135 - (Manti, UT)
This is a solid wood camera box or carrying case. Inside it has a number of brochures, some of which are for a Kodak Brownie Camera. Some of the items are dated 1956-57 so we assume that is when it was made. There is no identifying information on the box as to its maker. The box appeas to be made of solid maple with brass plated corner braces, hinges, and latches. It has a lock but no key. The keyed latch works as do the clasp latches on the front of the box. There is no camera with the box but there are a number of small booklets and pamphlets that are quite interesting plus a leather case with some type of lens. There is a maroon colored felt like lining inside the box and the lid plus an elastic band across the inside of the lid to secure items, The box measures 10.75 inches long, 8 inches wide, 7 inches tall, and weighs almost 5 pounds. We thought the box and its contents might be of interest to a collector of vintage cameras. The box and its contents are in excellent condition. We could not find another like it being offered but we suspect there must be a few similiar because Bronie Cameras were once very popular. Please look at the photos and we are happy to try to answer questions. Our pricing is just a guess and we are not offended by offers. (Most offers that is....) We can ship items quite inexpensively within the U.S. and accept returns within 30 days for any reason.
