1883 The Treatment of Syphilis by J Marion Sims MD 2nd edition pamphlet + flyer - $125 - (Towanda, PA)

Offered here is the antique pamphlet shown, along with the accompanying sales flyer. The treatment of syphilis pamphlet is 8 pages in length, softbound. With it we found the accompanying Eli Lilly one-page flyer for the "new" liquid cathartic Elixir Purgans. The only dates I found where 1883. Both measure about 6 x 8.5 in. These are in original as-found condition. Please see the photos to judge for yourself. Some age-staining, light soiling and light general wear to the pamphlet, which has two fairly faint horizontal folds. As you can see, the one-page flyer has sun-staining to one side and a little tattering along the bottom edge. So here are a couple of scarce additions to your antique medical collection.
