What We Think Holy cow this things plays and sounds awesome! It's got a super fast neck which is very comfortable and thin. It's got a great percussive and spanky sound which is great for slap bass and the lollars sound incredible! This JB-63 oozes vintage vibe in every aspect of the build. I love the black finish with tortoise pickguard. It's by far my favorite color combination for basses and many guitars. Especially with just a little bit of aging. That little bit of finish wear on the body where your arm rests is very natural looking. This bass has a nice slick neck, worn in all the right places. The Lollar pickups produce bold vintage tone just like the originals of the 60's.
