For sale very unique antique African bronze mask / bust, Nigeria. I purchased this mask / bust in St. Petersburg, Russia in 1993 on my trip. According to previous owner this mask dates from 1850's or so. Belonged to the Mmwo Secret Society. Used in the Yam Cult and at burials to invoke the Spirit of a dead women Ibo. Had in my possession for over 23 years now time to some one else to enjoy. Impressive looking bronze. Size: 11" high, 8" wide. In good antique condition.
