It has only one or two scratches I will send anyone interested, more pictures This beautiful German violin was made from wonderful, Karwendel mountain spruce wood in Mittenwald,Germany. This violin has a support peg inside the body. It's age, my guess is prior to 1914. Mittenwald Germany is the home of the KLOTZ, the finest German violin. THE KLOTZ FAMILY OF VIOLIN MAKERS, school of violin making, taught the Haufher family. Thus, this violin is the highly sought after German, (F.B.HAUFHER), exact (copy of stradivarius )
