Up for your consideration is a very nice 1881-CC Morgan Silver dollar. The 1881 is one of the key ones, with an initial population of only 296,000, making it the second rarest CC Morgan. A beautiful Choice XF+ details from the Carson City mint with a nice luster and a golden toning. The obverse shows all of her finer hairlines, complete borders on the leaves and cotton, and several of the cotton seeds. The reverse shows a strong eagle with bold wing feathers, solid neck feathers, and the outer chest feathers. There is also excellent separation on the leaves in the wreath. The rims are in very nice shape, but does have a single bump below the eagle, and every inner rim denticle is bold, with absolutely no rim smoothing. The fields are also extra clean. The surfaces are more shiny and reflective than anticipated, so she has had a cleaning at some point during her long life. A strong example of this scarcer CC Morgan, this might be that upgrade that you were looking for. The pictures show the actual coin that you will receive.
