The poker game takes one AAA battery and the checker game takes 2 AA batteries, batteries are not included. There are some wear and scratches on the games from use and storage. The poker game back is a little lose feeling when it is screwed on, it stays on and I think that may just be the way it was made.Markings/Measurements: Both games are the brand Radica.
