(The production opened September 10th, 1993 and ran for a limited engagement of four weeks, closing October 9th, 1993.) ..... The play starred twenty-two year-old DAMIAN LEWIS ("Homeland", "Billions") as "Romeo" in his first professional starring role. Lewis graduated from The Guildhall School of Music and Drama in 1993, and as soon as he graduated, started off at Birmingham Rep — where Laurence Olivier also started his career in 1926 — with two plays, Rope and Romeo and Juliet, followed by Moliere’s School for Wives at the Almeida Theatre in London in 1994 .....
