The Nation Breakfast Briefing: Building Progressive Power - N.A. - (New York, NY)

The feminist resistance to Donald Trump marched from America’s cities, suburbs, and small towns into Congress on November 6. Nearly 100 women will take seats in the US House of Representatives in January; almost ninety percent of these women are Democrats. Supporting this unprecedented wave were numerous new grassroots groups, notable among them, Run for Something, started by millenial activist and longtime organizer, Amanda Littman. Please join Littman, Katrina vanden Heuvel and The Nation for an insider briefing on the critical role of millennials in building political power in the wake of the November 6 elections. There will be ample time for audience questions. A scrumptious breakfast at Maialino, Richard Coraine and Danny Meyer's celebrated trattoria, will follow. All proceeds go directly to sustain The Nation's journalism.
