This duck is relatively battered from play, but still largely functional. The left side of his head is not too bad, but the right side is pushed in with loss of the graphics. Please look at the photos. He has four wheels, the front two drive the friction motor and the rear two just provide support. When run on a smooth hard surface the friction motor races noisily, the head nods up and down and sometimes his lower jaw opens and closes, the latter movement not entirely reliable. He is about 6 inches long and 6-1/2 inches tall. My guess is that he comes from the mid-1950s; he has a maker’s name of Daiya.
