Vintage F.E. Olds "Studio" Cornet; Lacquer, Gator Case, 1959 - $600 - (Sioux City, IA)
Up for consideration is this vintage F.E. Olds "Studio" cornet. It is in very good condition overall, but does have general cosmetic wear. The lacquer is mostly complete, but does have scratches throughout and wear on the normal areas. There is sign of minor repair, including light dent scarring in the bell bow. The slides are smooth and free. The valves are fast and aligned; plating is good, but has very minor wear. Compression is great. The serial number, 333788, dates it to 1959. Included is a near new Gator molded case; the horn fits in there very nice and snug.
