Chinese Whitish-Green Jadeite 2-Bird Carving w/ Ring Disk - $1,500 - (Richmond, VA)

Interesting vintage Chinese white-green jadeite 2-bird carving with a movable ring disk between them. Not sure of an exact date of origin. The carving measures about 2 3/4 inches tall; about 4 3/4 inches long; and about 1 1/4 inches thick. It has been scratch tested for hardness with a sharp steel prod....it is hard and shiny. It weighs about 75 grams. The last pic shows some damage from long ago......1 "ear" or "ear tuft" has chipped off.....you can see by the discoloration that it happened some time ago. M-20 -
