M1795 US DRAGOON CAVALRY SABER & SCABBARD - $775 - (Philipsburg, PA)

M37Z, Steel scabbard and mountings and leather covered wood grip with wire wrap missing. 33" protected steel blade in mint condition, never field resharpened, clean and pristine. Hand guard and grip metal and scabbard are in smooth brown patina, typically unmarked anywhere. By all indications, it was carried in the field but never used or even drawn in war. A better specimen like this is hard to find. No dents, nicks or a scratch anywhere. 38" overall sheathed. All original and complete. Ship weight is 5 pounds.
