ANTIQUE 1800'S STALKER * LEITH SCOTTISH SEXTANT W/WOODEN FAN SHAPE CASE - $600 - (Groveland, CA)

This came from an estate that we bought with another that is listed. Selling as received. We are not that educated on the item but did some homework on the internet. From what I could find it is from Scotland. The arc measures from - 5 to plus 105. Wooden case shows wear, cracks but hook works but did not want to try the key, just incase it gets stuck. Sticker inside case is worn and hard to read. No cracks in the glass. Measures of the base is 11.25" by widest at the arc is 9.5". Please see pictures, as is sale.
