A very impressive tall sterling bride's basket, with pierced and engraved decoration, Pattern #7579, by Frank Whiting Co., dated 1916. These bride's baskets have become quite rare. This one is in very good condition barring 2 small problems; Monogram on one side, engraved date 1916 on the other, Slight bend in the handle, visible in the pictures. Beautiful engraved and pierced work, with flowers and scrolls. No dents that I can see. Fully marked under the base. Dimensions: 23.5” tall, 11.5” wide.
