Antique Skinning Blade with Berchtesgaden Sheath & Deer Hoof Handle Blade is approximately 3.25” long and entire knife is approximately 7.5” long. The blade has a crisscross mark on one side with a D and S and E in 3 of the cross positions. To the right of the cross mark appear to be the letters R O S T and the beginning of more letters beneath those four. (Perhaps a Maker’s Mark?) The nice leather sheath is imprinted in gold coloring with the name “Berchtesgaden”, which is a village area in Austria where Hitler had his retreat! The Deer Hoof Handle has some fraying on the end. Otherwise, the knife is in very good condition.
