Large Pair Vitrolite Glass Panels Etched Painted Cherry & Dogwood Tree Art Deco - $1,995 - (Indianapolis, IN)

Circa 1920's - 1930's architectural glass tile set from Indianapolis, Indiana. One tile is etched and painted with a flowering Dogwood tree and the other panel is etched and painted with a cherry tree. Ornamental portion of panels are symmetrical in size, but the overall panels vary in size by a couple inches. Designs appeared to be acid etched into the smooth glass face and painted. Offered as found, uncleaned, and unrestored. some small chips around perimeter mainly only visible form the backside. Lower right hand corner of the cherry tree panel has the chip shown in images 11 and 12. It is small, but worth mentioning. The chip is present and is not noticeable when reinstalled. Dogwood panel measures " wide x " tall. Cherry panel measures " wide x " tall. Both panels are " thick. Please contact us for an accurate shipping quote.
