The State BankDetroit, MichiganFull Remainder $1 $2 $3 $5 Sheet of NotesCondition: AU/CU These are nice remainder solid AU+/CU remainder notes that are fully original as paper wripple from wet printing is still apparent with vivid color. There are a couple light bend/fold (not hard) where they could be cut with care to at least 2 CU's. This is a great sheet with vivid red print but also has hinges on reverse in selvage area and not on notes. Overall I call the notes at CU with light handling as at least 2 could be cut to that grade or better. These notes were part of a collection put together at the beginning of the twentieth century of which I acquired in 2006. This is the first time these notes will be listed on Ebay. The original collector noted his name on many of the notes - G. B. Camp. These were his prized collection and many are very rare for Michigan and originally housed in cellophane envelopes used in the early 1900's. Some notes have his cost in pencil as well. I have not enhanced or "played" with any of the notes. If there was damage or early hinges it will be noted as that was the way I received them. If there are specific cities you are looking for let me know and I will try to list them. This collection included 2 new finds for Michigan. One was a variant noted by the Late Dr. Wallace Lee in his book as "expected but not seen" and a second which is unique a 75c Waterford, MI serial number 1 of which is still in my collection. There are very few duplicates and this will be a great opportunity for many collectors to find those hard to find notes.
