Both melody and harmony can easily be played.These are Solid Hoop Pans, (bored) and unlike the ordinary oil drum pans, were craftily engineered and produced by Panyard inc.in a high tech environment under controlled conditions designed to produce rich tones and tuned to accompany any musical instrument.I bought them brand new from Panyard Inc seven years ago and kept them in my home in their appropriate cases in original packaging with normal HVAC. at room temperature and never subjected them to storage or extreme temperature conditions.THEY WERE NEVER PLAYED.
