This antique all wool mohair lap blanket was made for use in Sleighs,Carriages,Buggies,and Autos before car-heaters were invented. Measures 60"x 54",and weighs 5lbs, 3oz! It is in very good condition with bright vibrant reds, greens, purples and turquoise, a gorgeous design and heavy warm feel. There are a couple areas where there is wear on the edges and a tiny hole that I have circled in white in the photo. A recent purchase at auction this comes from Amish and horse country in western Michigan.
