Vintage 1964(original owner said he got this set for Christmas in 1964) Gretsch "Name Band" Outfit Used Rare Excellent++. Charlie Watts uses the same size rack tom, floor tom and bass drum today! Original Silver Satin Flame wrap over 6 ply Jasper shells with silver sealer interior finishes. Sizes are: snare, 51/2x14; Rack tom: 9x13; Floor tom: 16x16; bass drum: 14x22. Serial numbers:snare 75673floor tom 77930rack tom 76792bass 72966Serial numbers match for early 60s productionRail mount moves without problems and all mufflers adjust like they are suppose to so as to obtain that great Gretsch short and mature sustain. All shells, bearing edges, bass drum hoops, have no splits or cracks. Also none of the drums are warped in any way. They are truly made to last a lifetime! All rims have some signs of chrome pitting and the bottom rim of the rack tom has a slight split(#8 pic) but has no effect on tuning. When I bought the set from the original owner the snare had an after market throw off and I replace it with an approved replacement Gretsch G5380 Micro Sensitive throw off. I also have a Gibraltar bass drum cymbal holder that I will include with the set and original Gretsch snare stand that came with the kit. Hurry this set will not last long!
