From History Never Repeats LLC, South Charleston, WV Dunbar, Edward Wormley USA, circa 1955 Mahogany, walnut, brass.Measures: 20 deep x 28 long and 22 inches tall Dunbar - the finest cabinetmakers in America of the 20th century. Solid mahogany lumber coupled with a walnut top framed in mahogany. Features a contiguous brass stretcher inset into the legs making the table exceptionally strong. Dunbar cabinetmakers construction run second to none. Note the cantilevered top to the frame and the fine carved lines on the outside corner of the table legs. Designed as an end table or for use in a hallway as an option to a console. Has been professionally restored with lacquer and over the coming years the mahogany will darken.
