1998 CAT DOG CARTOON NABISCO MAIL AWAY WATCH NEVER RELEASED **RARE** NEW SEALED . **THIS WAS A MAIL AWAY EXCLUSIVE AND WAS NOT AVAILABLE FOR RETAIL PURCHASE** Back of watch reads 1998 Viacom manufactured under license by Innovative Time Corporation. Watch screen is blank, guessing it is in need of a fresh battery. Please see pictures for details. From what I could find on line in researching this item Nabisco manufactured and was going to launch a snack cracker branded Cat Dog after the cartoon. The cracker was fish and bone shaped, fish for the cat and bone for the dog. Pepperidge Farm manufactures the GOLD FISH snack cracker and when it was discovered that Nabisco was going to market a very similar item Pepperidge Farm issued a cease and desist. In the court process is was decided that this was a Trademark Infringement and as part of the court agreement Nabisco had to recall all Cat Dog food products. So, this was destined to be a mail away premium for a snack cracker that was recalled. From an estate of a former employee that held a position at a mail away premium fulfillment center in Minnesota.
