Early Meiji 1870-80s Japanese Bronze Champleve Cloisonne Vase, Hyakusei Seal - $575 - (Leonardtown, MD)

Beautiful Antique Japanese Bronze Enamel Champlevé Cloisonné Double-Handled Vase, circa early Meiji period 1870-1880. There is an artist's seal mark on the bottom which reads: "Hyakusei Kinsei" or translated "Respectfully Made, Hyakusei". Features an array of red, green, blue, and white enamels with two daodie masks in addition to a row of animal masks on a honeycombed bronze background. The handles are ringed. Was appraised earlier this year by ValueMyStuff at $1000 (insurance) and $400-$600 (auction value). Dimensions: 12" tall x 6.5" wide Good Condition from a Smoke Free/Pet Free Home. There is wear to the enamel from age (more in certain spots than others - please see photo where finger is pointing). There are no dents, cracks, or repairs otherwise.
