Very large and heavy. The hardware hook fasteners have the anchor mark for North and Judd who began their hardware business in the early 1800's. You be the judge on when the chaps were made and by whom; one person viewing suggested possibly 1950's. I really don't know but I am revising this listing just to provide that person's feedback. All I do know is that they are very old. The chaps are in reasonably good condition (leather is soft and pliable). The only things I can find as shortcomings are that there are spots of rust on the metal parts and the leather slips off the stud near the buckle because the hole is worn now and too big (see closeup photo of that). A leather working person might be able to fix it by simply sewing it down around the stud. Size reference: each side is approximately 38-1/2" long x 24" wide at its widest point Shipped USPS.
