A Handsome Antique Wood Bed-Most probably ca 1940's American , nice turned posts . It is double size, with matching head and footboards that have turned designs. Some solid wood and some veneer surfaces. Wood is very nice.Mattress slats not included. It has a vintage romantic "Shabby Chic" look . I love the wood grain the way it is. Approx. size; 77.5" long, 50" wide Will fit a double size mattress. CONDITION: This bed has been in my family for over 50 years. There may be minor scratches on top can easily be sanded on the top surface Oxilic acid will usually remove any slight water stains IT SHOWS SOME SIGNS OF WEAR.A FEW SCRATCHES OR NICK HERE BUT NOTHING TOO SIGNIFICANT. IT HAS BEEN IN STORAGE SO IT NEEDS A GOOD CLEANING, WOULD BRING OUT ALL THE BEAUTY OF THE WOOD.It has classical style and craftsmanship.- A lovely Bed that would accent any decor.
