For your consideration is a First Edition of GOOD-BYE MY FANCY: 2nd Annex to Leaves of Grass by WALT WHITMAN published by David McKay, Philadelphia,1891. This was Whitman’s last book prior to his death in 1892. The book is 8vo and consists of 66 pages. It is a First Edition in good condition in gilt embossed maroon smooth V cloth with beveled boards (BAL Binding “B”, with spine title measuring 4 7/8"), top edge gilt, and a frontispiece portrait of Whitman with tissue guard. There is some shelf wear to the bottom and top edges of the book and to the bottom and top of the spine. And there is slight age toning to the pages. (Please do check the photos.)
