Weems & Plath Micrometer Sextant Made in Germany Original Weems & Plath Sextant in original case. Case shows scuffing and scratching as would be expected. Case does not have the key, but front latches work freely and securely. Sextant appears to be functioning as intended as everything turns and moves freely. I find no rust or corrosion. Sextant is stamped Germany. Serial no. of the sextant is 61007. Certification no. 50996. The date shown (not sure if this is manufacture date of when it was inspected and certified) is March 30, 1978.
