Bose 5.1 Home Theater, SoundTouch 300, Acoustimass 300, Virtually Invisible 300 - $1,425 - (Troy, ID)
Selling a brand new, unopened Bose soundbar set which includes the soundtouch 300 sound bar, the acoustimass 300 base module, and the 2 virtually invisible 300 speakers. The cheapest I could find this set for is $1697. The story behind us selling: We came home after a weekend away recently with 3 big boxes covered in black garbage bags. There was a small sticky note with our name on it. Hmm, we didn't order anything, what could this be? When we opened the bags and saw what was inside we thought there must have been a mistake! Sent to the wrong house! But there was the sticky note with our name and also an amazon gift card with a print off of the types of mounting systems that go with this set. We started investigating with the post office and UPS etc, we tried tracking down from the numbers on the stickers on the box, but the labels had been removed to track down any information. Someone had obviously given us a VERY nice, expensive, GENEROUS gift- anonymously! We tried again to track down who might have given this to us, they obviously wanted to remain anonymous, as we had no luck. We have no idea why they gave us this gift as we have never indicated we were in need of something like this. But we are floored and are VERY thankful for that kind act! However, we already have a sound system, (much more modest than this one) and thought about keeping this MUCH nicer one, but decided that we really don't need this one as we are not huge sound connoisseurs, and don't watch much TV etc. We truly appreciate this gesture but we could really use the money elsewhere in our lives. So if you are the anonymous giver and see this post, we hope it doesn't offend you! We will put the money to good use for something we really need/want and we are VERY grateful.
