Mclean Lathe model 500, with one auto slide - $2,000 - (Okotoks, AB)

Mclean Lathe, Semi-Automatic operation for secondary work, one slide, tool holder included. We have 11 of these units, and will sell 5-6 of them, all will be checked over, and only good condition units will be sold. Has 1.25 through hole, (1.125 for max collet size), Air clutch, the start time, and clutch release, or continue run to release can all be set on the inside of panel, and adjusted. Close and two button to start. Slides are very precise, will move rapidly to near work, then move slow (as set on the gas shock setting), and move till indexed fine adjustment screw has bottomed out to stop travel, and then return. Optional tool head for side shift relief are availalbe, as well as front or rear slides, great for peck drilling or trimming parts after CNC machine cuts them off. Can use a clutch faced collet, and go with larger flat style part for trimming. 230 volt single phase in, motor runs on 180 DC I think, vari-speed, guessing about 2500 RPM max, I have full manual, and will make copy to send with machine. We have some spare slides, they are expensive, with mounts. Factory parts, tools, accessories or upgrades are available from Mcleaninc.com and go to older machines, (before PLC Seimens controls were added. We also have several 750 models we could consider selling. Some side slides are available as extra, some with offset relief action as well, both front and rear. The older ones, have wheels to set start time, and run time on each axis manually so you can have both moving at same time, or wait till other is retracted to engage part cut. We have them for trimming small tubular parts, or head turning grooves. We have video of units modified to full auto feed, as does Youtube. We will test and take video of unit before shipping for customer.
