The year 1954 was declared the Marian Year by Pope Pius XII This item was recently purchased from an estate. Specifications: This is a USED/PRE-OWNED Item -See Below for Condition Report. MATERIAL: 800 silver SIGNED: Marked on the Front with 'Pius XII PM A. MARINAS MCMLIV', and on the back with 'EGO SUM IMMACULATA CONCEPTIO' -which translates to 'I am the immaculate conception'. This item is also marked with a makers mark, ITALY, an Italian hallmark and an 800 mark (indicating it is made from 800 silver).
