31-year-old professional. I grew up on a farm and my mother is a veterinarian - (Washington, DC)

I am the Director of Programs for Global Partners for Development (gpfd.....). I travel frequently for work and am able to work remotely, so I am embarking on a grand experiment not to pay too much in rent this year! I am originally from North Carolina. I have a bachelor's degree in journalism from UNC-Chapel Hill and a master's degree in international development from American University. I grew up on a farm and my mother is a veterinarian, so I have been "pet sitting" my entire life! I also grew up taking care of horses and showing on hunter/jumper circuits.
