Summary Extremely busy Water Treatment Company is seeking a Research Laboratory Technician. The duties and assignments include: Decisions concerning sample collection and handling Daily instrument maintenance and quality control Sample testing Collection and interpretation of data Maintenance of accurate records and reporting of data Multiple protocols for processing and shipping Knowledge of critical values Attention to detail Additional research duties as assigned Qualifications: BS degree in Chemistry or related position 2yrs of analytical laboratory background 3 or more years' background in a commercial water testing laboratory preferred Current knowledge of aseptic sampling technique, automated lab equipment, and acceptable methods and procedures Broad knowledge of concepts, practices, and procedures of a water testing laboratory Or equivalent combination of education and background At least 1yr of Phlebotomy and lab processing required must have a clean driving history The expertise to relate to people
