Travel through time and explore the empire that shaped the world when Ancient Rome: Age of the Caesars opens to the public at Cranbrook Institute of Science, Sat., February. 3. This hands-on exhibit comes to life through larger-than-life machines, real art and artifacts, and life-altering technology. Ancient Rome: Age of the Caesars, presented by Flagstar Bank, is a family-friendly exhibit with activities for children including the Catapult Challenge, Abacus Arithmetic, Mosaic Madness, and more. The exhibit runs through July 3, 2018. Ticket prices (in addition to museum admission when applicable) are $8 for adults, $7 for adult members, individuals 65+ and children two – 12 are $6, and enhanced members and children under two are free.
