Synology 1512+ with 5x3GB Disks - $800 - (Seattle, WA)
I am the original owner of this Synology. It is in perfect working condition and has some small cosmetic scuffs which I show in the picture. It is equipped with 5 x 3 TB drives for 15TB of raw storage. I am pretty sure you can increase the size of storage up to 5x10TB or 50TB of raw storage but you would have to buy 10TB disks :) Depending upon the RAID method you choose, your actual storage will be less. I would still be using this but I wanted the 10gbe adapter only available on the 1517+. If you have not used Synology NAS devices, you should know that the DSM (Disk Storage Manager) software makes it very easy to download additional apps to run iTunes, media servers, and many other applications. I used this NAS to be my UPNP music store for my SONOS system with over 3800 albums of FLAC lossless and for my photo backup archive (5 TB).
