Outstanding Antique African Kuba Knife Ikula Dagger - $550 - (Dresden, ME)

This is a spectacular, pre-WWII African dagger, with an intricate, inlaid copper and zinc metal handle. It measures 14” (35.50cm) in length, with a very well formed, 24cm blade. The work on the handle is skilled, with unusually fine copper and zinc staple works throughout. There is an embossed metal cap on the top. Its’ condition is excellent with only a tiny amount of loss of the metal staples at the very top of the pommel. This specimen is in “as found” condition.
