Antique Lamson CASH TROLLEY Carrier Dept Store Overhead Register - $160 - (Keokuk, IA)

Vintage Lamson Cash Trolley or Carrier for a department store's overhead cable or wire line system circa late 1800's-1920's. These were used to carry a customer's bill & payment from the sales assistant to the cashier's office and carry the change and receipt back again. Paper money and bills/receipts would be clipped onto the bottom, coins would be carried inside the wooden cup.
