Offering this whimsical 60's ceramic hippo bank from Bennington Potters in Vermont. Design attributed to David Gil. Open mouth, slot for coins, missing original red stopper. Marked on the bottom "Bennington potters, Bennington Vermont 1565." Measures approximately 10" long, 5" wide and 3.5" tall. Very nice condition with no chips, cracks, or crazing.
