INCREDIBLE ANTIQUE GILT PAINTING FRAME light gesso gold Hudson River style - $700 - (Wellesley, MA)

This light is unlike any picture light I have ever seen. It has amazingly intricate decorations overall. It measures about 18" wide, 5" deep, and 4" tall. The gold finish looks original. It has some spotting and a few small losses. Overall very nice condition. The inner liner is metal. There are a couple of strips of milk glass inside the shade. I assume there were more originally. The wiring has been redone up to where it goes into the sockets. The heavy brass clamp can be adjusted to multiple positions. A really unique light. Thanks for looking.
