ORIGINAL WW2 USMC OFFICER'S UNIFORM NAMED - BOUGAINVILLE COMBAT VET - $95 - (Schenectady, NY)

Offered is a nice original WW2 Marine Corps Officer's Service Blouse of Raymond A. Niemitz. The tailor's tag is named to him and dated 9/1/42. I do not see any mothing to the blouse. The arm pit lining is loose at the seams. The 2nd Marine Division patch is original to the uniform. A quick check of Ancestry shows he served in Co. H, 2nd Bn., 9th Marines, from1943 - 1944 when the they fought on Bougainville. At the end of the war he was assigned to the 2nd Marine Division for the occupation of Japan.
