1960's - Single Barrel, Electric Probat Sample Coffee Roaster - Made in Germany - $4,000 - (Toledo, OH)

I have for sale a vintage electric Probat sample roaster. This unit does not have functionality for air flow control, but does have a brand new thermocouple, controller, heat relay, and power cord. Unit is 120V and works very well. The roaster also comes with the original trier to insert green coffee beans into the drum. Roaster will fit approximately 1/2lb of coffee at a time. It is suggested that you play with the amount to get a product that works for you. I was able to roast 300g of green coffee in 11 minutes with a charge temperature of 350F. Occasionally the switch for the power to the roaster drum will stick. This may need to be replaced in the future. Sold as is.
