We are pleased to be offering today this most unusual carved side by side secretary Eastlake style desk with a bookcase that dates from the 1890s. It has a great look with the original finish, a spindle step down gallery on top with a finial swoop down back, a bevel glass mirror, three adjustable shelves and a drop down writing lid that has a big north wind face carved it. Underneath has the original Eastlake hardware that has soldiers carved in and Eastlake traditional carving on all of the three drawers. The overall size is 48 inches wide, 14.5 inches deep and 69 inches tall. The writing surface is 20 inches by 14.5 inches high. The glass door is 19 3/4 inches wide by 45 inches high.
