We are selling our 40 year collection of hand crafted Meiji silver wares.......................... Signed. The raised floral work is quite unique. Carved in thick clusters almost no un-decorated surface. Often referred to as "profusion of flowers" design. Each flower is completely distinct. Illustrating the hand crafting of the box. Cast stepped L shape legs. The box is solid sterling silver. It is not weighted. There is no wood lining. Solid silver. Signed in Japanese characters. This box is 9 1/8 by 5 1/2 inches and weighs 47 1/2 standard ounces. In excellent condition. Rich sterling patina. Retains original crisp, vibrant detail. Cover closes firm. Interior clean.
