Here is a unique rare fabulous Post Medieval Period wine or water Ewer ... - a museum curator from the Cleveland Art Museum told me she has seen nothing like it , and where it originates from ... It emits a wonderful old feeling of it's antiquity while one is looking at it..... Its patina is very old , age is maybe as much as 1350 AD- not like anything of recent history- and very heavy for its size...It has an early curvy bulbous shape of the body - made by the lost wax method of casting... the handles and spout have incredible fine detailing, and exquisite quality craftsmanship... the lid and hinge is in very good working condition ...... and thanks for looking.
